Hey, Im Carlie, ive recognized alot of names from Hotbraile, is this a modified hotbraille or is it a whole new site??

As far as I know, it is an entirely new site, but a lot of HB members are regulars here. What was your ID on HotBraille? Nice to see you here!

I was metal_girl on HB and for a time on here also, then I changed to melodica. I like this site much better than HB! I even like it better than E-Pals, E-Pals is so serious and is always getting moderated and always having heated debates.
No, this sight has nothing to do with HB. In fact, according to what I've heard, it wasn't even designed to be specificly just for blind users, it just sort of evolved in to that. There a few sighted ppl on here, but not many. Yeah, epals was too serious for my taste. I don't mind a debate or a serious disscussion, but tempers just got too hot for me there.
Hotbraille who? Lets see, when I tried to get to the site I get the page error. Oh well, I doubt they'll ever return. Yeah some sites web boards can get too serious. It depends on what your opinion is, and how you say things. Some places you gotta walk on air trying not to pop anyones bubbles. My blind/vi's site boards allows freedom of expression and speech just as long as you respect everyone and everyone's opinion. I think this is why the zone is so sucessful. Look at EPals, The zone started up when same time EPals emerged? They aren't even as close to member numbers as this site has.
I've heard of HotBraille, but what is the URL, what is the site, isn't it where you can write a letter, and they will print it in braille and send it to the person via ssnail mail for free, or am I way off?

that's what it used to be, but it's now no longer in existence, so it's not much of anything anymore <grin>.
i heard about hotbraille back in a year time. some one told me that is a good place for blind. i think i should try it some of the day. see you, guys
Season, it no longer exists so don't bother trying. I do hope that one day they'll be a site that will let you send braille letters. I really liked that feature.

Right. We weren't out to copy Hotbraille when we started, and still aren't really. The site tarted with a couple of games (Hangman, Keno) which weren't even written by us, just brought on the site, and graffiti and the private mail. Later, the quicknotes were added. The boards about a year ago since Graffiti was too limiting for a lot of things. I'll have to start a history of the ZOne BBS page around here.

I was wonderwoman over on hot braille also. I liked hot braille ok, I just stayed out of the arguments, I finally left there, because I was probably too old for the boards, just as I am too old for most of the boards here, but oh well, if I have used a program or site, or can identify with a poster, I post anyway.
As soon as I get through going through the messages, I'm going back over to e pals to find out why I got that error message about my not being authorized to post on that board. Laters, and have a nice day all,
